Ormawa IPB University Forms a Social and Environmental Forum

All Student Organizations (Ormawa) of IPB University agreed to form a Social and Environmental Forum (Forsosling). This forum is expected to provide benefits for the environment, agriculture and social society. 

"Students are an educated community, have a sense of anxiety about the problems that exist in society," said the Student President (Presma) of IPB University, Imabudin Abdurrahman during the Deliberation for Social and Social Sciences for Ormawa IPB University, some time ago. 

He said, as a form of implementing higher education pillar guidelines, namely the pillar of service, Forsosling is expected to become a forum for ormawa IPB University to have a good impact in the environmental, agricultural and social fields of society. 

In the Forsosling meetings throughout IPB, activities were also filled with the formation of the Forsosling Charter as well as its management. The forum also agreed to develop programs in the environmental, agricultural and social sectors. 

The Coordinating Minister for Community Service, Student-Family Executive Body (BEM KM) IPB University, Latif Hidayatul Ikhsan said, the Forsosling Charter would be a guideline for the direction of movement for IPB University students going forward. 

"This charter is a movement guide that we are one student, we are one Indonesia and youth are here to always provide innovations that are beneficial for a better society," explained Latif. 

"Thank you for the support of the Ministry of Environment BEM KM, Ministry of Agriculture and Community Social Affairs BEM KM, and all Ormawa IPB University who have contributed and participated in holding this activity," he said. (*/Rz) (IAAS/HAP)
