Students of the Bogor Agricultural University (IPB) again recorded their achievements on the international stage. This time a student from the IPB School of Business successfully won the "Best Impactful Innovation Award" at the 2018 International Young Innovators Summit, Studec International in Tokyo, Japan.

He is Maulida Aulia Rezki, a student from IPB Business School. Maulida won this achievement through a paper entitled "Clusterpedia: Rural Agricultural Cluster Innovation As Economic Movement". "In this race we were given the theme of the paper namely Innovation from Young Generation for Better Future. I gave the idea of innovation in cluster agriculture with the strategy of the blue ocean shifter. I put forward an advanced innovation idea from the agricultural cluster strategy. If the cluster in general is one region produces one product, then this idea combines each region's results in one application so that it is easy to find by consumers, "said Maulida.

In the application according to Maulida, it is not just product information for consumers, but there are also other information for producers. In addition there are areas of development and research conducted by academics.

"This idea aims to promote agriculture in Indonesia to be more competitive through the concept of agriculture 4.0," he added.

Maulida also shared interesting experiences while participating in this activity. "There we attended a conference from Japanese researchers about innovation in human social, robotic innovation at work, to unique toilet innovations in Japan. We also conducted field trips to the Tokyo Institute of Technology to see the results of research by scientists in developing technology. We also had the opportunity to visit the Miraikan Museum to see the latest science and innovations in Japan, such as the introduction of robots as information servants, "explained Maulida.

Maulida admitted that she was very inspired by all the activities of this event, because she could see innovations from various aspects and countries.
