Celebrating its 55th Anniversary, IPB Strengthens Collaboration with These Two Institutions

The closing of the 55th Anniversary of the Bogor Agricultural Institute (IPB) which took place at IPB International Convention Center (IICC), Bogor (12/10) became a memorable day for many parties. Not only can you enjoy the quality music presented by the Twilite Orchestra from Indonesia's famous conductor, Addie MS, the awards to IPB innovators and authors, as well as launching the latest Hymn IPB arrangement, the academic community of IPB also witnessed the process of signing a memorandum of understanding (MoU) IPB with PT Sucofindo and the Alumni Association (HA) of IPB.

PT Superintending Company of Indonesia, better known as PT Sucofindo, is a State-Owned Enterprise (BUMN) Indonesia which is engaged in inspection, supervision, testing and assessment. As a professional company, PT Sucofindo has delivered integrated services, laboratory networks, branches and service points in various cities in Indonesia that have been supported by thousands of professionals who are experts in their fields. The agreement between IPB and PT Sucofindo was signed by the Rector of IPB, Dr. Arif Satria and President Director of PT Sucofindo, Ir. Bachder Djohan Buddin, MM.

"Collaboration between IPB and Sucofindo is in the form of laboratory utilization, research and training. So far, IPB has established many forms of cooperation with Sucofindo. Through this collaboration, it is expected that both parties can further increase the number of useful activities in the scientific field, "said the Director of Cooperation and Alumni Relations, Dr. Heti Mulyati.

He added, in another collaboration, IPB strengthened with HA IPB as the official IPB alumni organization that was formed with the aim of establishing and strengthening friendship between IPB alumni. The collaboration with HA focuses on education, research, the development of the alma mater and community service. HA IPB is one component that is very vital in the progress of IPB.
