More than 16 Thousand Participants Will Take Computer-Based Test Exam- National Selection Based Test (UTBK-SNBT) at IPB University, These Preparations Have Been Made

A total of 16,627 participants will take the Computer-Based Test Exam- National Selection Based Test (UTBK-SNBT) at IPB University. The exam will be divided into two waves. The first wave will be held on April 30 and May 2nd-7th, 2024, 2024 and the second wave on May 14th –17th, 2024.

Vice Rector for Education and Student Affairs of IPB University who is also the Chairperson of the UTBK-SNBT Center of IPB University, Prof Deni Noviana conveyed various preparations that have been made by IPB University in the implementation of UTBK, especially the readiness of system trials from 28 rooms in 6 faculty clusters and schools in the IPB University environment.

“IPB University was appointed as one of the UTBK organizing centers, various preparations have been made, the most important thing is system trials, because the UTBK exam system is managed nationally. Today a system trial has been carried out and it is running smoothly, “ said Prof Deni.

He revealed, the room facilities had been well prepared, there were 28 rooms from several faculties at IPB Dramaga Campus that would be used as the exam venue, namely the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA), Faculty of Animal Science (Fapet), Faculty of Agricultural Technology (Fateta), Library to facilities located in Vocational School and Business School located in Bogor City.

Furthermore, Prof Deni appealed to UTBK participants to anticipate potential congestion or conduct a location survey before the selection began.

“This is important to do considering that there are two areas of the IPB University campus which are the places for UTBK implementation, namely at the Dramaga Campus in Bogor Regency and the Vocational School Campus as well as the Business School Campus in the Bogor City area,” he said.

He hoped that UTBK participants would not be mistaken with the selection location according to the participant card. “Hopefully the activity will run smoothly, participants can be comfortable and get the best exam results so that the participants can be accepted at the expected universities,” he concluded.
