Administrators IPB University held the Inauguration of Student Organization Management in 2023 which was held at the Andi Hakim Nasution Rector Building, (5/3).

The inauguration was attended by approximately 119 representatives of Student Organizations (Ormawa) within IPB University. On this occasion the IPB University Postgraduate Student Forum (Discourse Forum) became one of the organisations that participated in the inauguration and was represented by Verry Surya Hendrawan, ST, MT as the General Chair.

Prof drh. Deni Noviana, PhD, DAiCVIM as Vice Rector for Education and Student Affairs in his remarks said that the inauguration of the Ormawa which was held was the starting point for student organisation administrators to build history through work, kindness and usefulness as well as achievements.

On the same occasion, the Rector of IPB University, Prof Dr. Arif Satria, SP, M.Si, advised that student organisations become a centre for formulating plan, ideas, inspiration, and innovation. He hoped that students will be able to become leaders of change who are focused and always make various efforts to take first steps that have a big impact, so that they become a reference for others to follow.

“Students who are currently entrusted with leading organisations are expected to be leaders who bring change with a big impact on a local and global scale, and can become a reference for others,” said Prof. Arif Satria.

Meanwhile, Verry Surya Hendrawan, Chairperson of the Discourse Forum used this opportunity to keep in touch with other Ormawa administrators.

“Alhamdulillah, we agreed to collaborate more in order to have a wider impact. Hopefully the IPB University Discourse Forum Integrity Cabinet in 2023 with the tagline Integrity will be able to do, work optimally and with sincerity, in order to provide the widest possible benefit.
