IPB University Jambi Alumni Association Establishes a New Chairperson for the Period of 2020-2025

The Alumni Association (HA) of IPB University Jambi Province held a Regional Conference (musda) at the Abadi Hotel, Jambi City, Sunday (12/1). Musda's activities include the submission of accountability reports for the 2015-2020 period as well as the election of the new chairman of the Regional Leadership Council (DPD) of HA IPB University for the period 2020-2025.

The accountability report was submitted by the Chairman of the DPD HA IPB University for the 2015-2020 period, Ir Refendi Sibagariang MM. The accountability report contains five work programs carried out during the 2015-2020 period and were unanimously accepted by Musda participants totaling around 150 participants.

Vice Chancellor for Cooperation and Information Systems, IPB University, Prof. Dodik Ridho Nurrochmat said that the role of IPB University alumni and their contribution to the region was very large. "The social capital of IPB University alumni is quite strong because the number of alumni is large and spread in various lines, professions and activities. This makes it possible to build cooperation between institutions, "said Prof. Dodik.

Prof. Dodik also admitted that currently there are 160 thousand alumni of IPB University in Indonesia. This number is certain to continue to grow every year around six to seven thousand people. In Musda this time, Ir Cultivating MForSc as Chairperson of DPD HA IPB University of Jambi Province for the period 2020-2025, who currently also serves as Regional Secretary of Jambi City.
