IPB receives a Visit from 155 CPNS Training Participants

Bogor Agricultural University (IPB) received a visit from participants of the Basic Training for Candidates of Group III Civil Government Officers (CPNS) at Andi Hakim Nasution Building, IPB Dramaga Campus, Bogor, on Monday (23/7). This activity, which was organized by the Center for Development of the State Personnel Agency (BKN), was attended by 8 counselors and 155 CPNS who came from BKN, Creative Economy Agency and Geospatial Information Agency.

"In this visit, 155 participants are undergoing CPNS training or pre-service. For approximately 40 days the participants will study in campus (off the job training) and then continue with habituation, namely applying the materials that have been obtained during the classroom session," said BKN representative, Agung Purmindarto.

Head of Quality Management and Internal Audit Office (KMMAI) of IPB, Dr. Ibn al-Qayim, as resource person said that a method is needed to convey information to the public. "All research activities undertaken by IPB are financed by the country. All of you sitting here are supported by Indonesian government. Therefore, dedication and work are our accountability forms. We should not be corrupt. We will take responsibility for every rupiah we get," he said.

Dr. Qayim explained that the development of IPB was started from the time it was founded, including the progress of IPB in various scientific fields and the innovations produced. Dr. Qayim hopes that these young people who passed the CPNS selection will have strong soul of leadership as their accountability to the country. "Your duty is to spread the 'virus' of belief that the nation's children are a great generation."

All participants shared experience, discussed and saw directly the implementation of accountability, nationalism, public ethics, quality commitment, anti corruption, management of State Civil Apparatus (ASN), whole government and public services in eight work units in IPB, namely Directorate of Finance and Accounting, Campus Transportation Unit, Directorate of Student Affairs and Career Development (DitmawaPK), Library, KMMAI, Directorate of Human Resources (SDM), Directorate of Information System and Digital Transformation (DSITD), and Communication Bureau.

The results of this visit will be prepared as a report and discussed in the training class. (FI/ZSP/Zul)
