IPB’s Board of Professors Held the 3rd Plenary Meeting
Board of Professors (DGB) of Bogor Agricultural University (IPB) held the 3rd plenary meeting at the Academic Senate Meeting Room of IPB Campus Dramaga, Bogor (19/12). One of the agenda was to present the names of Professors with the highest number of scopus-indexed articles. The professors are Prof. Daniel Murdiyarso, Prof. Husin Alatas, Prof. Cece Sumantri, Prof. Dondin Sajuthi, Prof. Antonius Suwanto, Prof. Arief Boediono, Prof. Komang Gede Wiryawan, Prof. Yusuf Sudo Hadi, Prof. Maggy Thenawidjaja, and Prof. Marimin.
The Professors with highest Scopus-indexed articles as required by Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education (Kemenristekdikti) Republic of Indonesia in the period of 2015-2017 are Prof. Yusli Wardiatno, Prof. Husin Alatas, Prof. Komang Gede Wiryawan, Prof. Widanarni, Prof. M. Zairin Junior, Prof. Agus Suprayudi, Prof. Daniel Murdiyarso, Prof. Dewi Apri Astuti, Prof. Marimin, and Prof. Aji Hamim Wigena.
The announcement was conveyed by the Chairman of the DGB IPB, Prof. Dr. Yusram Massijaya. In addition, the achievements and activities of the DGB in 2017 were also presented, among others, has successfully completed the agenda of organizing the oration of the DGB IPB.
On this occasion, appreciation was presented from the DGB Chairman to the Rector of IPB 2012-2017, Prof. Dr. Herry Suhardiyanto, who has successfully facilitated the implementation of scientific oration since 2015 until 2017. DGB has also facilitated the issuance of 44 titles of IPB Professor's book published by IPB Press.
In addition, DGB IPB as the coordinator of the Indonesian Team has successfully conducted the Conference and Round Table Discussion of Indonesia – Malaysia Professors Association (IPIMA) on November 6-9 in Malaysia, attended by 113 participants and 78 papers presented.
Currently IPB has a total of 247 professors, with 225 Permanent Professors. IPB also announced new professors, among others, Prof. Widanarni from Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences (FPIK), Prof. Faiz Syuaib from the Faculty of Agricultural Technology (Fateta), Prof. Widiatmaka from Faculty of Agriculture (Faperta), Prof. Muh Agus Suprayudi from FPIK, Prof. Asnath Maria Fuah from the Faculty of Animal Husbandry (Fapet), Prof. Dodik Ridho from the Faculty of Forestry (Fahutan), Prof. Yandra Arkeman from Fateta, Prof. Husin Alatas from the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA), and Prof. Agus Buono from FMIPA.
