Prosperity Board of Mosque (DKM) Al-Hurriyyah of  IPB Bogor (Agricultural University) organized training course for Hajj and Umrah Program 2016, for IPB communities. The event was held at the Al-Hurriyyah Mosque, on Friday, 29 January 2016), and the speaker for the Training was Dr. Hasim, of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences,  (FMIPA IPB).
 
In his presentation on to the philosophy and wisdom of Hajj, Dr. Hashim, stated that  the call of pilgrimage is written in the Qur’an, which reads "And cried out to the man to do the pilgrimage, they will come to you on foot and camel riding skinny coming from every corner of the remote. (QS. Al-Hajj 22:27)".
 
According the words of Allah SWT, he explained, in addition to an obligation hajj is also a need for Muslims throughout the world. The Hajj cannot be performed for the purpose of gaining worldly recognition. The Hajj takes place in and around the holy city of Mecca, the time for performing hajj already set, so that people can not change the time of pilgrimage.
 
He also explained that in performing the Hajj must be intended for God. As contained in the hadith, the actual receipt of the charity depends on the intention," he said.
 
He added, with the power of God’s intention because it will strengthen our patience in performing the Hajj. All will creates a sense of calmness, and expand our knowledge on the history of Islam When running Haji, trials and tribulations will not cease to come and go, from departure until the time of execution of Hajj. "We must proceed with life and death on God. The Hajj is the ultimate form of worship, as it involves the spirit of all the other rituals and demands of the believer great sacrifice.  For young pilgrims they advised to give priority to the elderly, as it can also enhance their Hajj, "he explained.
