Teawalk at Gunung Mas by University Bus No. 053 Commuters

Thoug it was cloudy at the Gunung Mas tea plantations, Puncak, on 7 May 2011, but it did not dampen the enthusiasm of teawalk participants, especially for the commuters of the University Bus No. 053, the administrative staff and faculty members of the University. The participants who were consisted of the commuters’ member families seemed cheerful, despite the fact that they have to  walk as far as four kilometers in the mountainous areas. Although such activity is rarely planned, but the smile and the jokes often came out of the participants, due to the fact of the close relationships among the participants.  The event was initiated by University Bus No. 053 commuters, chaired by Mr. Sugiawan of the Faculty of Animal Husbandry. " I think Teawalk is good for health, it will make our mind-off our routine works that sometime cause  tension.” “Pokokna mah murah meuriah tapi bisa seuri ngabalakatak”  (It cheap activities but may cause us smile and happy)."

After teawalk, the participants enjoyed the single organ performance.  The situation was getting more alive, with doorprizes from the organizing committee. Hopefully such events will be paternized by all other academic communities, keep the the University’ employees  healthy. Said  one of the teawalk participants. (Wied).
