The implementation of the Computer-Based Written Test – National Selection Based Test (UTBK-SNBT) at the location of the Vocational School and Business School of IPB University today has entered the third day. In addition to the participants, parents of the participants were seen waiting for their children to come out of the exam room.

Near the parking lot of the IPB Cilibende campus there was one parent who shared his story regarding his hopes for his child in the future. Hendri is a private employee who comes from Cibinong, Bogor. He was willing to wait for his son to finish the exam for more than two hours.

“I feel happy and even happier if my child can graduate and enter the college he wants. It looks like my son is following in the footsteps of his brother who is now studying in the sixth semester in the Industrial Management study program at the Vocational School of IPB University,” said Hendri.

He said, the most important thing is that his son can continue to focus and have a great desire to enter college. “One of the preparations that my son has done is to follow the UTBK try-out exercises plus there are also several messages and tips given by his brother in facing the exam,” Hendri said.

“I hope my son can follow in my footsteps by having a better job than me and in accordance with his educational path, one of which is to become an employee in the industrial sector,” he said.

He said that his wish was due to his current income being insufficient. Therefore, Hendri hopes that his son can have more income than him so that he can make himself happy in the future.

“I believe IPB University is a state university that produces the best graduates because not just anyone can enter a state university, so I am happy if my son can be accepted,” Hendri said.

Hendri hopes that he wants his son to be able to continue to study seriously until graduation by producing the best grades so that later his horizons can be widely open. (Lp) (IAAS/PRP)
