IPB University Agribusiness Department Successfully Held DBWA and EAC Expo to Celebrate Innovation and Sustainability

The Agribusiness Department of IPB University successfully held the Agribusiness Entrepreneurial Village Expo (DBWA) and the Agribusiness Employee Challenge (EAC). This activity is one of a series of the 2023 IPB Independent Campus Competition Program (PKKM) by accelerating Freedom of Learning – Independence Campus (MBKM) through the Agribusiness Department Capstone.

A total of 125 students consisting of 110 DBWA participants and 15 AEC participants participated in EXPO activities held at the Faculty of Human Ecology (Fema), recently. The Expo displayed 44 business innovations created by DBWA students and 3 innovations thought by AEC students.

Dr Lukytawati Anggraeni as Daily Executive (Plh) Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Management IPB University gave a positive response regarding the implementation of this program.

“Through this program students can apply the knowledge they have learned and can see the potential that can be developed in the region,” said Dr Lukytawati.

Shivania as a student at the Department of Agribusiness said that this program provided many valuable lessons and hopes that a program like this can be held again next year.

Another student, Raka Febrian, said, “It is hoped that the implementation of the program will be more optimal and more lively next year,” he said.

In this activity, visitors can tour each stand displaying innovative products, and also interact with Expo participants to find out more about the products displayed.

Apart from displaying innovative products from each, the series of Expo activities were also filled with giving prizes to selected groups of participants and giving door prizes to lucky students. (AAS/Lp) (IAAS/YMK)
