IPB University Receives a Visit from Nusa Cendana University, Discussion of Student Final Assignment Conversion Guidelines

Recently, IPB University received a visit from Nusa Cendana University (Undana), East Nusa Tenggara. The purpose of this visit is for an audience to prepare final assignment conversion guidelines in accordance with the provisions of the Minister of Education, Culture, Research and Technology Regulation (Permendikbudristek) Number 53 of 2023.

The delegation from Undana consisted of the Vice Rector for Academic Affairs, Prof Drh Annytha IR Detha, and several important staff. Meanwhile, IPB University was represented by the Vice Rector for Education and Student Affairs, Prof Drh Deni Noviana, and the Director of Educational Transformation and Learning Technology (DTPTP), Ir Lien Herlina, MSc.

Prof Drh Deni Noviana expressed his appreciation for Undana’s visit in his speech. He welcomed Undana’s intention to build a strong foundation and consistency in the existing education system.

“Undana has developed education in Eastern Indonesia very well, so IPB University certainly really supports activities at Undana,” he said.

Meanwhile, Prof Annytha said, “We are very optimistic about developing “the implementation of the Freedom of Learning – Independence Campus (MBKM) related to the curriculum at Undana.”

Undana has taken this initiative with the hope of gaining deeper insight and guidance in implementing Permendikbudristek Number 53 of 2023. This regulation has an important impact on the development of students’ final assignments, so they are eager to ensure proper implementation.

The meeting went well and the atmosphere in the audience was very constructive. Participants from both universities shared their knowledge and experiences regarding the final assignment conversion guide.

This reflects the strong spirit of cooperation among higher education institutions in Indonesia to improve the quality of education and better understand new government regulations.

It is hoped that this joint agreement will help both universities achieve success in implementing relevant regulations in the future.
