Prof Deni Noviana Elected Again as The Head of ARSHI for the 2023-2027 Period

Prof drh Deni Noviana who currently serves as Vice Rector of IPB University in the field of Education and Student Affairs is again trusted as The head of the Indonesian Animal Hospital Association (ARSHI) for the 2023-2027 Period. Prof Deni was re-elected as The head by acclamation in the ARSHI National Working Conference (Mukernas) (10/9) at the IPB International Convention Center (ICC), Bogor.

“I thank you for the mandate given and ask for cooperation, contribution of thoughts, and support in the management of ARSHI for the next five years,” said Prof Deni after being elected.

Before being elected, Prof Deni presented the accountability report of the ARSHI board for the 2017-2023 period and five excellent work programs that had been carried out. The programs consist of the Indonesia Animal Hospital and Clinic Expo (INAHEX), Continuing Professional Development (CPD), ARSHI Veterinary Letters, the establishment of ARSHI legal aspects, and the establishment of Indonesian national standards (SNI) for animal health services.

“The development of technology and information requires ARSHI to adapt and adjust to the changes that occur. With collaborative, synergistic, and professional efforts, ARSHI remains committed to becoming a driving force in the development of animal health services in the country, especially specialty-based services,” he added.

Held in conjunction with INAHEX 2023, the event was attended by representatives from veterinary hospitals and clinics throughout Indonesia. In the chairman election process, ARSHI members nominated three names, namely Prof Deni Noviana, Prof Gunanti (IPB University), and drh Dodik Prasetyo MVet from Brawijaya University Teaching Animal Hospital (RSHP).
