The IPB University Education Personnel Forum (Fortendik) held an Socialization about Internalization regarding Employee Discipline, Furlough and Performance Assessment in the Calculation of Performance Incentives (20/03) at the A5 Girls Dormitory, Dramaga Campus IPB, Bogor.

This activity also coincided with the framework of welcoming the holy month of Ramadan by holding a cucurak with IPB University educational staff. The Head of Fortendik, Ir Setyo Edy Susanto, SThI, MPd, was also present at this occasion. 

The socialization presented speakers Assistant Director of Recruitment and Performance Evaluation, Directorate of Human Resources IPB University, Adelyna STP, MM and moderated by Dr Suratni.

On that occasion, Adelyna MM conveyed the violation of employee discipline. She said, disciplinary violations can be in the form of words, writings and actions.

"Tendik has 17 obligations and 14 things that are prohibited as employees of IPB University. One example of a prohibition is providing support to a candidate for president/vice president or a member of the legislature by participating in a campaign," she said.

She emphasized that attendance is part of employee discipline. Employees who are absent for three working days a year will receive a verbal warning. If absent for 4-6 working days, the employee will receive a written warning. Meanwhile, if you are absent for 7-10 hours of work with a statement of dissatisfaction or absence for 10 consecutive days, the supervisor can propose (after inspection) to be dismissed not at his own request.

"Please pay attention to employees if they are not present to communicate with superiors. The solution, if you are not present for reasons of family matters, illness, wife giving birth and others by applying for furlough," explained Adelyna, MM.

She further said that the level of light disciplinary punishment was in the form of verbal warnings, written warnings, and statements of dissatisfaction. While the moderate level of disciplinary punishment includes excision performance allowances (tukin) 25 percent for 6 months, excision 25 percent for 9 months, 25 percent excision for 12 months.

"However, the application of the tukin excision at IPB University has not been carried out, because we did not get the tukin so we are equalizing it with performance incentives," she added.

The level of severe disciplinary punishment is demoted to a lower level for 12 months, released from office as executor for 12 months or dismissed with honor not at his own request.

This activity is expected to strengthen the relationship between employees and create motivation to continue to improve employee performance and provide the best service for IPB University. (ns/Rz) (IAAS/HAP)
