IPB University released 2,555 students to conduct a Real Thematic Work Lecture (KKN-T) on 17 June 2019 at IPB Dramaga Campus, Bogor. KKN-T is an annual agenda conducted by IPB University as a form of community service activities by students for 40 days. Dr. Arif Satria, Chancellor of IPB University said that KKN-T will teach students how to collaborate, to solve problems, and to be more sensitive to the problems of society. "KKN-T is a good place both to get inspiration and to inspire the village and city communities. By participating in this activity, students have to show that IPB University brings added value and benefits to the community with all knowledge," he said.

In line with the Chancellor of IPB University, Dr. Ir. Aji Hermawan, Head of the Institute for Research and Community Services (LPPM) of IPB University said that in this KKN-T activity students could implement the knowledge they had acquired in lectures and offer innovations that could benefit the community. "We will do the workshop several times as a control. Hopefully we can contribute our knowledge well," he explained in front of thousands of students attending the release ceremony.

The release of KKN-T students was carried out symbolically by submitting a Letter of Assignment for KKN-T students of IPB University in 2019. The Chancellor of IPB University handed over the Letter of Assignment to all coordinators of 29 districts/cities. (SMH/Zul/zsp)
