51 Lecturers of TrilogI University Participate in OST Posdaya

 A total of 51 teaching staffs of Trilogi University were taking part in the Observation Study Tour of Family Empowerment Post (OST Posdaya) in the Village of Situ Gede,  Bogor, Friday (3/1). The delegation was led by Trilogi University Rector, Prof. Dr. Asep Saefudin

 

After a fielf visit, the participants were welcome by Head of Human Resource Development Center, Institute of Research and Community Service, Bogor Agricultural University (P2SDM-LPPM- IPB), Dr. Pudji Mulyono in in the meeting room of Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Darmaga Campus of IPB. On this occasion, Dr. Pudji presented the topic on "The Role of P2SDM LPPM IPB as Regional Coordinator of Universities in West Java and Lampung."

 

In the question and answer session, a question was raised of how IPB can empower communities through the many Posdayas. The answer by Ir. Mintarti, M.Si, one of the researchers of P2SDM-LPPM-IPB is that the key is motivation and communication. According to her, motivation must first exist in each person in charge of assistanship, i.e. the desire to empower people and the next factor is to always keep in touch with the public.

 

Prof. Asep said that his institution requires faculty members to  take part in OST Posdaya so that they could understand the concept of integrated tri-darma (three major activities) Posdaya, according to Prof. Asep, is a part of such concept. (Mtd)
