I highly recommend my IPB friends participate in next year's competition as its registration is open now," said Alfi

Alfi told that he was pushed to think to make profits not only for yourself, but also provide sustainable social impact. That's not all, he said, he and the team were also given the opportunity to take a study visit to Thailand to learn the pattern of agricultural development based on community empowerment there.

AgriSocio Youth Entrepreneur Programme is a concept of social entrepreneurship in agriculture to involve students in contributing collectively to developing the potential of each region with a local branding concept.

The prototype of this activity is the development of a beverage product labeled " Indorempah" made from 7 spices. This is done by empowering the wives of farmers in the village of Benteng, Bogor. On October 12, 2013, a pitching session was held, that is, the selection of 4 teams from 16 teams to qualify for the program funded by the Singapore International Foundation. (Mtd)
