Vision :

As an internationally recognized center of excellence in the development of biotechnology, conservation and utilization of bioresources.

Mission :

1. To carry out research in biotechnology, conservation and utilization of bioresources in supporting IPB (BAU) as a Research-based university.

2. To support graduate education in IPB (BAU).

3. To provide services in biotechnology, conservation and utilization of bioresources.

Objectives :

1. To foster development of bioresources & biotechnology through.

2. Supporting the graduate education by providing research facilities.

3. Increasing quantity and quality of human resources by trainings.

4. Increasing quantity and quality of research & development in biotechnology, conservation and utilization of bioresources.

5. Increasing scientific services by disseminating and application of the research & development results.
