Library

The library of IPB University is a scientific information management unit to support educational programs, teaching and research for IPB University academicians by providing various services related to scientific information as required. IPB University library provides services such as membership, borrowing and returning books, searching for information, user assistance, reference, discussion room, internet services, SNI corner, BI corner, as well as photocopying and scanning services.

Facilities

1. OPAC (On-line Public Access Catalog) 
   OPAC is a searching tool that can be used to find relevant information about the Library collections using a computer. There are 10 OPAC computer units on the first floor and 6 OPAC computer units on the second floor.
2. Internet Access 
   IPB University library provides internet connection within the library area using hotspot or Wifi. A Digital Service Room is provided for users who require internet access.
3. Library Lobby
   Library visitors can use the library lobby for reading books, working on assignment, discussion, and holding exhibition while maintaining order, safety, and comfort.
4. Discussion Room
   IPB Universty library provides 2 (two) discussion rooms (with capacity of 5-10 people) on the second floor which can be used by IPB University academicians. For those who will use the discussion room, please contact the Library Service Division.
5. Bag/Item Deposit Counter
   To maintain the safety of personal belongings carried by the library users, a bag/item deposit counter is provided on the left side of the entrance door. This deposit counter is located on the 1st Floor. Valuable belongings and laptop may be brought into the library using a bag provided by the officer.
6. Photocopy Machine and Scanner
   For those who need photocopying and scanning services, a photocopy machine is provided on the second floor at the Digital Service Room.
7. Garden
   The library provides a garden as a place to have a rest.
8. Canteen
   Various snacks are available at L-MART Canteen.
9. Parking
   Parking Facility is only available for four-wheel vehicles.  Apart from the main IPB University faculty, there are also faculties at the faculty level that are scattered in each faculty.
