Description:

Torbangun cookies is an innovative food product that based on garut tuber starch with the right torbangun leaf addition. This cookie could micro-nutrient source. Torbangun leaf contain high micro-nutrient so it could be an alternative in fulfilling micro-nutrient intake especially in iron and calcium for society. Garut tuber is an alternative to wheat flour that is a source of carbohydrate and easy to digest energy.

Torbangun added in a flour form so it could be combined with garut starch. Flour can be made with drum dryer technology in temperature of 60-80 degree Celsius for 20 seconds. The processing with this technology giving a positive effect to torbangun quality, that is nutrition compounds are preserved and still maintain bright-green color. To improve the quality added flavors such as mocha, chocolate, butter cookies, etc.
