Rector of IPB University Inaugurates Building A of the School of Business of IPB University from the Renovation Results

Rector of IPB University, Prof Arif Satria inaugurated Building A of the School of Business (SB) of IPB University at IPB Campus Gedung Gede, Jalan Raya Pajajaran, Bogor, (1/9). Building A of the School of Business of IPB University was finally inaugurated after being renovated since early 2022.

” Thank God, alhamdulillah, today we are inaugurating Building A of the School of Business of IPB University. I visited at night, I saw that it was worthy to be inaugurated,” said Prof Arif in his speech.

Prof Arif said, the newly inaugurated SB IPB University Building A should be a home for the academic community, not a house. According to him, the house only focuses on physical development, but the home will be the house inside. Thus, this renovation is part of enriching the soul, not just heeding the physical.

“Therefore, I hope that with the new building, the soul of the occupants will be stronger, the soul will be fresher, the soul will be happier,” he said.

With this renovation, Prof Arif Satria hopes that SB IPB University will give birth to more growing inspiration and better works. He also hoped that SB IPB University could become a productive place for business-related matters.

Meanwhile, Dean of SB IPB University, Prof Noer Azam Achsani explained the beginning of Building A being renovated. He said, at the end of 2021 there was one of the buildings in SB IPB University whose building collapsed. Then his party coordinated with the General Section of IPB University so that it could be followed up.

“It turns out that the entire area of the section is rotten. Finally it was decided to renovate in early 2022. The plan was to replace the wood with light steel, then the tiles were replaced so that they were good. But then the team developed it much more elegantly, so I think the renovation results are really good beyond the expectations that I imagined at the first time,” said Prof Noer.

He hoped that after being renovated and inaugurated by Prof Arif Satria, Building A SB IPB University could be more useful for the academic community. Not only is the building good, but also SB IPB University can provide the best. (MHT) (IAAS/RUM)
