The Faculty of Human Ecology (Fema) IPB University cooperates with the North Kolaka District Government (Pemkab) through the Community and Village Empowerment Service (DPMD) in implementing Precision Village Data (DDP). The signing of this collaboration was carried out by the Dean of Fema IPB University, Dr. Sofyan Sjaf and the Head of North Kolaka DPMD, Pattahuddin in the AMG Connect Fema Discussion Room, Dramaga Campus IPB, Bogor, (26/5).

"I thank you very much for the trust to work together. This is our third time with the North Kolaka Regency Government. In the past, we had a master plan on rural areas, then there were several more activities carried out between IPB University and North Kolaka Regency," said Dr Sofyan in his remarks.

Dr Sofyan said, there are 500-700 villages in 11 provinces and 24 districts/cities in Indonesia that have used Precision Village Data. In fact, this innovation can calculate the Human Development Index (IPM), extreme poverty and the potential for stunting down to the individual community level in the village.

"The end of this data is the analysis, so there is no need for analysis using a new program. We have complete basic data between social and spatial. DDP can measure what is included in the aspect of people's welfare according to the law," he said.

Dr. Sofyan expressed his gratitude for the trust of the North Kolaka Regency Government to cooperate in implementing Precision Village Data. He hopes that this collaboration will provide benefits to the people in the village, especially North Kolaka.

Meanwhile, Assistant 1 for Administration and People's Welfare of the North Kolaka Regency Government, Mukhlis Bachtiar, SPi, MPi said that his area was facing three data problems, namely the problem of confusing stunting data, extreme poverty and data on village head elections. He hopes that through this cooperation such problems can be eliminated.

"On behalf of the North Kolaka Regency Government, I would like to express my gratitude for the willingness of Dr. Sofyan and his team to receive us and cooperate in completing this data," he said.

Mukhlis explained, his party would make several villages as examples of the implementation of Precision Village Data. This Precision Village Data can be the basis for village governments, especially those who have just completed village head elections in preparing the Village Medium Term Development Plan (RPJM).

"So that later it will become a starting point, not just data, but this will become a reference in preparing the village's RPJM," he concluded.

Present on the occasion included Assistant 3 of the North Kolaka Regency Government, Ir Idris, MM, Head of the North Kolaka Regional Development Planning Agency (Bappeda), Ir Ihwan MM, Secretary of Bappeda Mohammad Fadli, ST, MT, Head of the Usman Village Empowerment Division (Kabid), SSos, and the Precision Village Data team.
