Valid! Kang Aif Elected as Chairman of Hanter IPB University 2023-2028

The General Assembly of the Alumni Association of Faculty of Animal Science (Hanter) IPB University was held at the IPB International Convention Center (IICC), Bogor, 18/2. The general assembly was an election event for the Chairman of Hanter IPB University.

In the General Assembly, it was conducted by consensus, so that the General Chairperson for 2023-2028 was elected, namely Aif Arifin Sidhik, SPt, MSc. Kang Aif (his nickname) was previously the permanent Secretary General of the previous Hanter management period.

During the event, the previous Chairman of Hanter IPB University for the 2018-2023 period as well as the Deputy Governor of West Sumatra, Dr Ir Audy Joinaldy, SPt, MSc, MM, IPM, ASEAN.Eng came. Dr Audy said that in his management, he had laid a strong family foundation in Hanter to stay together and get along well.

“Hanter is a very compact organization in various fields. All elements support each other so that all activities never experience a minus, even a surplus in terms of funding,” he said.
He added, Hanter IPB University had conducted the inauguration of the Regional Executive Board (DPD) in 12 provinces until the last one, namely DPD HANTER Papua. Inauguration activities in other provinces were delayed due to COVID-19.

“To the new board, please continue the activities that have been carried out and can do other activities that are even better. So that the name Hanter can work in the national and international arena,” he ordered.
Meanwhile, the elected Chairman, Aif Arifin Sidhik is the CEO of AS Putra Group, which is engaged in livestock, agriculture, fisheries, hospitality and others.

According to Aif, the activities carried out by the previous board have been very good and will be continued for the next period.

“The achievements of the 2018-2023 Hanter Chairperson, Mr. Audy and Secretary General Kang Iyep Komala, have been extraordinary, and have brought Hanter to a new level. Insya Allah, I will carry out the mandate as well as possible. Please pray and support from all Hanter members in the new management by continuing to carry family values in Hanter,” he said.

Meanwhile, the elected Secretary General of Hanter is the previous Secretary General of Hanter who was re-elected, Dr Iyep Komala, SPt, MSi. Dr. Iyep is currently a lecturer at the Faculty of Animal Science, IPB University.

According to Dr Iyep, the 2023-2028 management will carry out several activities that were delayed due to COVID-19. “Postponed activities include the inauguration of DPD administrators in several provinces, raising social and scholarship funds to be used as endowment funds, community service activities, business, reactivating social media and social services to the IPB University campus and the country,” he added.

The elected General Treasurer, Wisnu Brata Ratning S, SPt, RIFA®, is an alumnus of the Faculty of Animal Science of IPB University as well as an entrepreneur of laying hens and broilers.
Naning, her nickname, said that through a harmonious election, she was sure that Hanter IPB University would increasingly provide benefits for alumni, students and beloved alma mater.

“The mandate of social fund and scholarship programs, of course, will be managed and reported regularly and openly. Let us supervise each other and increase the coffers of social funds and scholarships, so that there will be more beneficiaries,” he hoped. (Iyep Komala/Zul) (IAAS/RUM)
