IPB University’s SV Investment Gallery Makes a Visit to the Head Office of the Indonesia Stock Exchange

The Capital Market Study Group (KSPM), an organization under the supervision of the Investment Gallery-Indonesian Stock Exchange (BEI) Vocational School (SV) IPB University paid a visit to PT BEI’s Head Office, some time ago. Apart from making visits, KSPM SV IPB University also held Level 1 Capital Market School (SPM) activities in collaboration with PT Phintraco Sekuritas. This activity was attended by dozens of SV IPB University students. Several lecturers from the Accounting Study Program (Prodi) participated in accompanying students.

“The purpose of holding this Level 1 SPM activity is to become an educational facility for SV IPB University students from various study programs who have an interest in the capital market sector. Apart from that, it is hoped that this activity will give students insight to better understand the world of investment and implement the 3P concept: understand, own, monitor,” said Asty Khairi Inayah Syahwani, SStat, MM, MSM, one of the SV IPB University lecturers.

He said, Level 1 SPM participants gained knowledge and knowledge related to the capital market through presentation of material from two professional sources in their fields, namely Hendra Pamungkas Jovianto (Market Development Division of Indonesia Stock Exchange) and Megasari J Putri, CRP (Senior Executive Relationship of PT Phintraco Sekuritas). In addition, Level 1 SPM participants also had fun through a quiz prepared by the committee and had the opportunity to win attractive prizes from the BEI and PT Phintraco Sekuritas.

“On this occasion, we met the Main Director of the BEI, Mr. Iman Rachman, who welcomed us warmly. He also supports activities that will continue to increase education about the world of capital markets,” he concluded. (*/Rz) (IAAS/SHY)
