BPRS Botani and BP Biswaf IPB University Establish Cooperation in Waqf Management
Taking place at the IPB International Convention Center (IICC), Bogor, (17/3), PT BPRS Botani Bina Rahmah with the Business, Investment and Waqf Management Agency (BP Biswaf) IPB University signed a Collaboration Agreement for Distribution and Management of Waqf Funds. The signing of the collaboration text was carried out by the Main Director of PT BPRS Botani Bina Rahmah, Abdillah Jetha Putra and the Head of the IPB University Business, Investment and Waqf Management Agency, Naufal Mahfudz.
The signing ceremony for the collaboration was witnessed by Lukman M Baga, Main Commissioner of PT BPRS Botani Bina Rahmah and Alla Asmara, Deputy Head of Business, Investment and Waqf Management Agency IPB University and other invited guests from both parties.
This collaboration aims to optimize the collection, management and distribution of benefits originating from the management of waqf funds for IPB University's waqf programs. These include scholarship programs, water stations, provision of medical equipment, waqf of productive livestock and waqf rice fields.
The Main Director of BPRS Botani in his remarks said that BPRS Botani had now obtained a license from the Indonesian Waqf Agency (BWI) as an Islamic Financial Institution Receiving Cash Waqf (LKS PWU).
"It is hoped that in the future this collaboration can synergize and optimize the collection, management, distribution and utilization of waqf assets for social purposes, worship, education and as a means of promoting general welfare," he said.
Head of BP Biswaf IPB University, Naufal Mahfudz, welcomed this cooperation agreement. Naufal hopes that this collaboration can optimize and expand the benefits of IPB University's waqf programs in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
Dr. Alla Asmara, as Deputy Head of BP Biswaf IPB University also enthusiastically welcomed the collaboration carried out by both parties. Moreover, BP Biswaf IPB University is currently accelerating the Food Security Waqf program, namely Waqf Sawah and Productive Livestock Waqf. (*/Zul) (IAAS/YMK)
