In the context of the 2019 Budget Implementation Evaluation and 2020 Budget Implementation Plan, IPB University received input and direction from the Deputy Chairman of the Indonesian Supreme Audit Board (BPK), Agus Pramono who is also the Chair of the Audit Committee of the Board of Trustees (MWA) of IPB University, Monday, (13) / 1) at IPB International Convention Center. Agus Pramono said that from BPK’s findings in Indonesia, many errors were caused by ignorance, ignorance, or deliberation that was often found by BPK in the field. Meanwhile, related to all forms of income and the residual results of the activities of IPB University obtained from the use of state assets that have been separated or state land whose use is submitted to IPB University is revenue from IPB University and must be reused for the benefit of IPB University.

The Rector of IPB University, Prof. Dr. Arif Satria said the presence of the BPK in an effort to understand the allocation of the state budget that entered IPB University from the state, is there a difference in the perception of IPB University as a Legal Entity State University (PTNBH).

Through enlightenment from the BPK can encourage and increase the accountability of existing programs at IPB University. With the status of IPB University which is like half a private and half a country many things are different from the work unit, “said the Rector of IPB University.

With the presence of the BPK, IPB University will have a direction towards financial accountability. Related to this, the mission of IPB University is to enhance the role of the development of modern management in the college environment.

“At present IPB University has carried out a digital transformation for two years. Thus the BPK will be easy to audit finances at IPB University. Just open the system and click, making it easier for the BPK to do the sampling because the system is designed very well established. This is part of the mission of taking responsibility for state finances to make the program even better, “added Prof. Arif Satria.

The Chancellor of IPB University also reminded that BPK’s findings were not something to be feared. However, as material to fix so the findings are part of an effort that must be completed.
