Early March, a total of 19 students received training "Marine Aquaculture Engineering and Management" from the Center for Coastal and Marine Resource Studies (PKSPL) Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM) Bogor Agricultural University (IPB). After training for two months, 16 students passed the closing ceremony of the training at IPB PKSPL EDTC Building, Campus Baranangsiang (16/5).

Pupils who have received the material and practice can be a reliable human resource in the field of aquaculture and has a noble character, honest and god-fearing. Hopefully, this positive beginning to be implemented in every boarding school that his students have been trained. PKSPL LPPM head, Dr. Ario Damar said that in principle PKSPL IPB gives full attention to the activities of economic empowerment of the people. Therefore, this event begins with training and internships for students in the field of aquaculture and water management. 

"We are preparing to become resources that reliable in each boarding school, only then we enter into the implementation phase in the form of a pilot project or demfarm which will be accompanied by assistants," he said. (AVR)
