In the digital era like today, all our needs are made so easy. However, on the other hand, that convenience actually increases one's sense of laziness and with the technology also, what the body should be active in moves instead to be spoiled. What happens if in our technology there is an application that invites us to be active together?

Not a student if you haven't innovated. The list of innovations of Bogor Agricultural University (IPB) students increased again. This time it was created by Iyang Aneka Wibowo, Leonardi Fabianto and Rafiqah Hasna Sukma from the Department of Computer Science, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA). The three of them created a joint running application called "WeRun". The application was included in the national level competition "Nutrition in Application (Nut-App) 2018" held by the Nutrition Science Student Association, Faculty of Human Ecology, (Himagizi FEMA), Campus IPB Dramaga, Bogor (30/9).

WeRun aims to bring together people who both want to jog but still need friends to exercise together. "I am not able to exercise alone, preferring to exercise together," said Rafiqah when asked about the reason they created WeRun.

The competition that focuses on developing application ideas and innovations on the mobile platform themed Easy Ways to Get Healthy. "So in this race, we are asked to create prototype applications. From there, we innovate to look for something different and there is no playhouse yet. After considering the urgency and the theme of the race, we finally show WeRun, "said Iyang. WeRun finally won third place in this competition.

They claimed that they initially did not think they would win. When presenting the work, among other finalists, it happened that only the WeRun team had the theme of sports, the other teams tended to eat.

"It began to appear optimistic even though there were still many shortcomings in the presentation. Even so, we hope our ideas can inspire others, "Leo concluded. (Ama / Zul)
