IPB Students Held Music Corner Post their Mid-term Exam

Music of Vocation (MOV), is a student Art Club of Bogor Agricultural University (IPB). Recently the Art Club organized a Music Corner performance as a refreshing program for students post Mid Semester Exam (UTS) yesterday. The event was held at Parking Park, IPB Vocational School, IPB Campus, Cilibende, Bogor, West Java, on Friday, 13 April 2018.
More than hundred students and communities visited Music Corner. The objectives of the regular event held, which is held twice a year, are to entertain students, as well as communities around the campus. "Because it is a public event and opened, so anyone can come and enjoy the event, as this performance is dedicated for IPB students in particular, and for everyone around the campus. The event is to prevent students being bored and disengaged, and too serious on lectures only. This the reason why the Art Club had music performance to entertain and refresh students," said Tiwi, the Chairman of the Organizing Committee for the event.
Tiwi, student of Communication Study Program, of the Vocational School of IPB, explained that the present Music Corner present the group band of MOV. The musicians of Music Corner are students of the Vocational School of IPB, who are members of the talented students of IPB. The theme for the present event was “Oter Space” which is identical with the outer space objects. "A lot of group bands are formed in this organization, to appreciate them, each group were given opportunity to perform and show their works," she said.
Not only that, Tiwi also said that the Music Corner was held at the right time, so that students really entertained. "Indeed it is the right time for us to entertain our friends who have completed their UTS," said Tiwi.
"It is expected that the Music Corner held annually by the musical organization of students of the Vocational School of IPB, had entertained their friends. Their performance should also be developed into the better one the next year," said Tiwi.
In addition to Tiwi, Chairman of the Music Organization of the Vocational School of IPB, Nugi, expected that the group would present the best performance they had. "I hope the program would be well-performed, students or the public who attend could be entertained, and enjoyed the performance," said Nugi. (Wied)
