IPB Achieved the World Ranked TOP 51+

This year, Bogor Agricultural University (IPB) continued to show the achievement as the rank of the world’s prestigious university. The result of QS World University Ranking by Subject in 2016 was, IPB occupied the position of the world’s Top 51+. Precisely, it was for the categories of Agriculture and Forestry. 

“IPB has the same level with Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology (TUAT) and Universitas Putra Malaysia (UPM) for the same category. The ranking of IPB this year increases from the previous year that occupies the position of the world’s Top 101+,” said Head of Law Bureau, Promotion and Public Relations of IPB, Yatri Indah Kusumastuti.

QS World University Ranking by Subject issued a list of the best universal campuses  by the categories of disciplines/departments. To do the ranking, British research institute of education evaluated 4,226 universities in the world. The rangking was conducted based on the analysis of 113 million citations and the results of verification of 15,530 study programs. 

This rangking could be a guide for every campus to strengthen the primary area of expertise. (zul)
