UKM Pramuka of IPB Commemorated Baden Powell Day

Student Activity Unit (UKM) Pramuka, Bogor Agricultural University (IPB) organized “Penerimaan Warga Racana Surya Tirta Kencana – Inggita Puspa Kirana Angkatan 42 / Acceptance of Residents of Racana Surya Tirta Kencana – Inggita Puspa Kirana 42 Batch”, (20-21/2). The name of 42 Batch was SNI, standing for Sagraha Nirwasita. The activity of the Acceptance of Residents of Racana (PWR) was held in Cibadak Village, Ciampea, Bogor District, precisely at the foot of Gunung Kapur Ciampea. 

 

Participants of PWR amounted 26 students of IPB, entirely the 42 batch from different regions, such as Bali, East Kalimantan and Riau. In the preceding year, there were the ones coming from West Papua and Aceh, so that the members of Racana of IPB came from various regions of Indonesia with a diversity of cultures and ethnics that were accompanying them. 

 

The activity of PWR this year was filled with the community service activities, the wild nature, the togetherness/synchronization, the survival, the art performances, the full dialogue of racana and the knowing of Racana of IPB closer. PWR this time was chaired by Hendra Hermawan, Student of Department of Agricultural Industry Technology, Faculty of Agricultural Technology Level 1. PWR 42 batch was indeed planned as the activity to commemorate 159th Baden Powell day which fell on February 22nd. 

 

The closest event that would be held was Racana of IPB namely Skill Course of New Members of SNI 42 Batch / Kursus Keterampilan Anggota Baru Angkatan SNI 42. The event namely Hiking Competition of Student Affairs / Lomba Lintas Alam Lembaga Kemahasiswaan (LLALK) 2016, which was an annual event of UKM Pramuka of IPB specifically for Student Organization existed in IPB, covered UKM, Regional Student Organization (Omda), Structural Institution, Profession Association, BEM, DPM, and DKM. In the preceding year, the Rotating Trophy was seized  by Team of Seed Industrial Technology (TIB) of IPB Diploma.***
