IPB Prepared to Open the International Class

In the program of World University Ranking (WUR), Bogor Agricultural University (IPB), it was held “Lokakarya Penyelenggaraan Kelas Internasional / Workshop on the Implementation of International Class”, Monday (14/12), in Session Room of Rector of Andi Hakim Nasoetion Building, Campus of IPB Dramaga Bogor. The workshop was attended by Deans, Heads of Departments, Heads of Offices, Directors, and Heads of Bureaus in IPB. 

 

Vice Rector of Research and Cooperatives of IPB, Prof.Dr. Anas Miftah Fauzi, said, “The international class program is one of the strategic plans of IPB towards the world class university. The international class program must continue to be implemented and developed, compiled based on competency or learning outcome”. 

 

He added, therefore one of the efforts to be done in IPB was to invite or provide opportunities of foreign lecturers and students to act and learn in IPB. “Strategies for the universities with the international class program are the internationalization of the curriculum, to increase the student exchange with foreign universities, to increase the capacity and the exchange of lecturers, to improve the information technology, collaboration with external institutions, and to adjust to the international development,” he said.  

 

Presented as the speakters in the session of “Regulasi dan Fasilitasi Persiapan Penyelenggaraan Kelas Internasional / Regulation and Facilitation of Implementation Preparation of International Class”, namely Director of Learning, Directorate General of Learning and Student Affairs, Ministry of Research of Technology and Higher Education of RI, Dr. Paristiyanti Nurwardani; Education Manager of Faculty of Economics and Business of University of Indonesia (UI), Machmudin Eka Prasetya, SE.Ak, M.Ak; and Head of Section of Information and Communication Means of Immigration, Immigration Office Class II Bogor, Dedi Firman.(Awl)
