Coffee Commodity in Creative Agribusinesses

Department of Agribusiness of the Faculty of Economics and Management of Bogor Agricultural University (FEM IPB), held a festival, expo and workshop to promote  commodity coffee in the "The 4th Agribusiness Festival 2015", at  Baranangsiang Campus, Bogor, on Sunday, 27 September 2015. This special event was part of the series of the closing program of "the 4th Agribusiness Festival 2015" with the theme "Creative Agribusinesses".

 

This special event which was officially opened by the Dean of FEM IPB, Dr Yusman Syaukat,  displayed various types of foods, fashions, up to  agricultural creative products. In addition, the event also exhibited the acoustic performances of various high schools bands of Bogor. At this expo too, the Association of Indonesian Coffee Exporters (AICE) introduced coffee commodity to the public.

 

Among the  Executive Boards of the  Department of Agribusiness present in the Special Event were Chairman of the Department of Agribusiness of FEM IPB, Dr. Dwi Rachmina, Dr. Krisnamurthi, Unit Head of Food Crops and Horticulture of Agricultural Services of Bogor, Wawan Darwan, SP, MM who is also the Chairman of Forum Komunikasi Sub Terminal Agribisnis (FORKASTA – the Forum Communications of Sub Terminal Agribusiness Indonesia).

  

This event attracted thousand visitors, they were of general public, students to businessmen. "This special event which is organized by the Department of Agribusiness of IPB is really an annual event. We expect such event will become the pioneer for the development of the Indonesian agribusiness, especially for agriculture. Moreover, it will be the annual program of the Department to encourage the youths to speed up  the agricultural development of  Indonesia, "said Chairman of the Committee, Dodi Dwipa. (Wied)
