Labbaik Allahumma labbaika. Labbaika la syarika laka labbaika. Innal hamda wanni’mata laka wal mulka. Laa syarika laka.  The meaning is: God, I am coming to you because you call me. There is no other God but Allah. All ni’ mat and praises are yours and your power. There is no other God but Allah.

Alhamdulillah, for Muslims who will go for pilgrimage this year 1435H (2014 AD) they will have extraordinary feelings, and they will be named Haji Akbar. They will be Haji Akbar as the 9th Dzulhijah (the time while they practice their wukuf at Arafah) will fall  on Friday. The next Haji Akbar will occur in the next  8-10 years.

This year  one of IPB’ employees who have been confirmed to be the candidate for Hajj, and will have  the opportunity to go for Pilgrimage to the Holly Land to perform the fifth pillar of Islam is Mrs. Aam. She is one of the cleaning services of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine (FKH) IPB.

"Alhamdulliah, with God permission, I am leaving for Pilgrimage with my son and daughter. All the expenses had been shouldered by my eldest son who will also join for Pilgrimage as well, " she said while attending the 2014 Candidate for Hajj Get Together before their departure organized by IPB at the  Senate Meeting Room, Andi Hakim Nasoetion Building, on 26 August 2014. According to the record for 2014 approximately 35 personnel  of nine faculties of the University will leave for Pilgrimage.
 
On this special occasion, Rector of IPB, Prof. Dr.Ir. Herry Suhardiyanto, M.Sc requested them to  pray for IPB that God always lays His Hands upon IPB, and will always protected as well as provide ways for its problems,  guide and give strength in performing its duties to educate students.

The 2014 Pilgrimage Get Together before their Departure program was organized by the Directorate of Human Resources (HR) of IPB. In this special event the 2014 Pilgrimage were given Pilgrimage Rituals Briefing, short explanation on Mecca and Medina as well as knowledge how to maintaining their health while performing their Pilgrimage.
