It is remarkable: the enthusiasm of IPB’s new students of Batch 51. The desire and passion to come for the welcoming ceremony of new students was so great and visible in their loud exciting yells. The welcoming ceremony was held on (06.07.2014) at Graha Widya Wisuda (Graduation Building). Rector of IPB, Prof. Dr. Herry Suhardiyanto said, "All students should be grateful for being able to go in and learn in this great campus of agriculture. All of those who come to IPB have been competing with students all over Indonesia, so they should earnestly study well with high motivation."

 

The event became livelier with the presence of Chairman of the Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI), Prof. Dr. Din Syamsuddin who took the opportunity to give a briefing to motivate the new student of IPB. "Students who are admitted into IPB for further studies should be proud because you can learn and study the field of agriculture in its broadest sense, show the dream and the determination to succeed in studying in IPB. The main motivation is willing to learn with passion, avoid laziness, must have commitment to move forward and succeed. Let’s hope it won’t happen that you have taken a long way to take studies in IPB, but this opportunity is not used properly. Regret comes later. For this reason, the learning motivation of all new students must be raised, please show that batch 51 is a golden generation-plus to be proud of." he said. (Mtd)
