The Signing of MoUbetween PTPN X with IPB

PT Perkebunan Nusantara (State-owned Company PTPN) X has established the partnership program with InstitutPertanian Bogor (IPB). The program that include research, education and community service have been translated into the agreementwhich was signed on 12 June 2013, at the Campus IPB Bogor Dramaga. The signatores for such agreement were Rector of IPB, Prof. Dr.Ir.HerrySuhardiyanto, M.Sc., and President Director of PTPN X (Persero) Ir. Subiyono.Prior the signing of the agreement, Public Lecture on IntegrasiGulaNasional(the National Sugar Integration) with guest speaker the President Director of PTPN X was organized. 

 

The theme for this special event is “Integrated Strategy to Revitalize The Glory of Sugarcane-Based Industry in Indonesia”. "Masalahtebuadalahmasalahperjuanganbangsa(The Sugarcane problem is our national struggle)," said Ir. Subiyono, stated the president director of PTPN X in this special event.

 

He said, PTPN X planned to implement three superior strategies namely efficiency, diversification, and optimization (EDO). "Up to now fuel efficiency is the only strategy which was successfully implemented, as such fuel is made of bagasse itself," said Ir. Subiyono.

 

The President Director of PTPN X suggested to develop and promote sugarcane commodities together. "This effort will not become a national spirit if it is not being supported of all parties," said Ir. Subiyono. (Wied).
