“Young Entrepreneur” Film Inspired the Principle of SMA Al Hikmah, Surabaya to set up Enterpreneur
In his visit to Bogor Agricultural university (IPB), for the Principal of Al Hikmah High School, Surabaya, Drs. H. Edy Kuntjoro, M Ed and teams IPB showed the film on “Young Entrepreneur” produced by Public Relations and Protocol of IPB. After seeing the film Drs. Edy was inspired to set up entrepreneurship. "Well, after watching the movie we maybe decide to stop teaching and change our profession to be enterprener in agriculture. Enterpreneur is so attrractive, within one month we may earn a turnover of tens of millions to billions Rupiah, "said Drs.Edy, Wednesday, 9 May 2012, at Darmaga Campus.
During his visit to IPB, Drs.Edy stated though the Al Hikmah High School, Surabaya is relatively in infancy, but over 73 percent of its graduates passed the Joint Entrance Selection System for State Universities (SNMPTN) and have been admitted to those various universities. This is the result of the strict selection process for Al Hikmah High School, students. "We did not select prospective students based on the entrance fee, but based on systematic tests we planned. The admission test includes a written and psychological tests, and the Koran reading, "said Drs. Edy. Last year, one of our Al Hikmah Surabaya high school alumni passed the SNMPTN test, and was admitted to be student of IPB. The Director of Common First Year of Bogor Agricultural University (TPB-IPB), Dr.Ibnul Qayyim, expressed that for the recruitment of new students TPB has built a database for high schools in Indonesia.
