Bogor Agriculture University (IPB) in cooperation with PT. Telkomsel held a discussion of IT in Campuses in the form of an Entrepreneur Seminar and Internship Program. In his speech, Director of Career Development and Alumni Relations (PKHA) IPB, Dr. Dodik Nurrohmat says that the progress of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) is so rapid. "Almost every year there are always new product developments of ICT. If we do not follow the development of ICT, we are technology illiterate (clueless)," he said.

He then told his story while attending an ICT exhibition. He saw people typing without a keyboard and as if there was nothing in front of him. It turned out that people typed with an infrared sensor. One day, said Dr. Dodik, it could be simply by pushing the buttons on the phone for people to check the condition of the home and do the housework while working in the office. "With the sophistication of the Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) connected to the phone, it becomes very possible," he added.

On another occasion, Corporate Communications Telkomsel, Widya Granita said the number of mobile Internet users in 2010 increased sharply i.e. 1450 per cent. "As many as 90 percent access the Internet for specific purposes. The number one users are the age groups of 21-24 years, followed by 35-40 years of age and the smallest number of users aged 51-54 years," said Widya. At present, Widya added, Telkomsel goes into the 7th world biggest user and becomes the leading market sector of communication services (Mtd)
