IPB University Increases Collaborative Collaboration with UPI and Subang Regency Government

IPB University Community Service Research Institute (LPPM) conducted a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Subang Regency and Indonesian Education University (UPI) governments in the fields of education, research and community service on Tuesday (8/7). This collaboration is in the context of the development of the Subang Regency area, located at the Subang Regency government office. In the event, IPB University and the Subang District Government also handed over IPB Goes to Field (IGTF) students from IPB University who will carry out IGTF activities from July 8 to August 8, 2019 with the theme of the People’s Ranch School. Previously, IPB University collaborated with UPI to field as many as 74 students to carry out the Thematic Real Work Lecture (KKN T) activity held on June 17 to July 29, 2019.
Subang Regent, H. Ruhimat, S.Pd., M.Sc expressed his gratitude to IPB University and UPI for sending students to Subang Regency and bringing innovation from universities to be developed in Subang Regency. “I am sure the program implemented here will be very beneficial for the Subang community in particular,” said H. Ruhimat.
While the Head of LPPM IPB, Dr. Aji Hermawan said, thank you to the Regional Government of Subang for accepting the presence of students to carry out Thematic KKN and IGTF activities. The hope is that through IGTF activities and the activities of the IPB University KKNT which collaborate with UPI, they can work together and share roles in the implementation of the program so that it can provide benefits to the institutions, students and communities of Subang Regency.
