Relinquished Missing, 1st Generation of IPB Faculty of Agriculture Holds 55 Years Reunion of Pas

After being separated for a long time, alumni of the first batch of the Bogor Agricultural University (IPB) from the Faculty of Agriculture (Faperta) finally held a 55-year Reunion of the Generation. This reunion was held for two consecutive days at IPB Dramaga Campus, Bogor (14-15 / 9). The alumni come from various cities and even countries to gather and reminisce in memory of a memorable past.
On the first day, Generation Pas alumni planted 100 Maniltoa sp trees. Commonly called a handkerchief tree. Rector of IPB, Dr. Arif Satria, S.P, M.Si had the opportunity to do the first planting of this new tree.
This tree planting is integrated with the current losses of the Dramaga IPB Campus. Maniltoa sp. deliberately planted in the General Classroom (CCR) area, the Dramaga Bogor IPB Campus because the CCR Building has similarities with the Baranangsiang IPB Campus Building, the place where the Pas Generation alumni took place at that time. In addition, this planting is a legacy from the Pas for the successors of his struggle at IPB.
On this occasion the Rector of IPB explained the role of IPB in the competition that has high creativity. The generation has changed. This era is an era of creativity-based competition.
"The group is currently no longer officials but great entrepreneurs who are able to master technology. A world that demands to master who has high creativity and competitiveness. At the moment, we are trying to print future leaders who are acting as entrepreneurs and socio-preneur, "said the Rector of IPB.
Meanwhile, causing the Chairman of the Association of Generations Pas, Ir. Ida Ismail Nasution, MDA there are three secrets so parents can survive. First, you have to move frequently. Second, must speak. Third, you have to often get along with your neighbors. "Like now, it feels like we are young again," he said.
Deputy Dean for Academic and Student Affairs of the Faculty of Agriculture (Faperta) IPB, Dr. Ir. Nurhayati, M.Sc was amazed to see the cohesiveness of the Pas Generations who could still gather and reminisce together. This activity is a real example for other alumni to continue to maintain friendship with fellow compatriots in IPB first.
The final event was closed with a tour around the campus using the IPB bus fleet. This is done so that the alumni are more familiar with Dramaga's IPB Campus. In the past, the Pascal Alumni held lectures on the Baranangsiang IPB Campus which is now intended for the activities of the Postgraduate School and offices of various research centers under the Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM). In addition, this tour is used as a moment of repetition of the future of campus that has been carried out by alumni of the Pas Generation decades ago.
