SPI of Polines conducts a Comparative Study on Bureaucratic Reformation to IPB

Bogor Agricultural University (IPB) received a visit from the Internal Control Unit (SPI) of Semarang State Polytechnic (Polines). The group was welcomed by the Head of Quality and Internal Audit Management Office (KMMAI) of IPB, Dr. Ibnul Qayim, in the Meeting Room of Public Bureau, IPB Dramaga Campus, Bogor (17/7).
During their visit to IPB, the team consisting of SPI Chairman, Rudi Handoyono, SE, M.Si, Mardiono and Tri Rachadi would like to find out more about information related to the bureaucratic reformation instrument that has been collected by IPB.
"We want to learn about road map and report progress as well as management of internal control system from IPB, including how to improve, strengthen and implement it", said Rudi Handoyono.
The comparative study conducted by Polines is related to the government regulation implementation which states that every state university (PTN) and Private Higher Education Coordinator (Kopertis) must formulate an action plan on bureaucracy reformation and its achievement development in accordance with eight areas of change, namely organization, governance, apparatus mentality, legislation, human resources, supervisory apparatus, accountability and public services.
In his presentation, Dr. Qayim stated that IPB always records every activity done by the institution. "We are trying to do all requests from the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education (Kemenristekdikti)," he said.
According to him, Kemenristekdikti will establish PTN which will become the institutions' models that implement bureaucracy reformation in developing the integrity zone and the Corruption-Free Area (WBK) or the Clean Bureaucratic Service Area (WBBM), as well as in the implementation of resource sharing to utilize the resources (assets) owned by PTN.
