The three students are Fadel Rizky Fudhola, Dedy Surya Pahlawan and Yose Desvera.

Veterinary Scientific Competition (VEIN) is the Program organized by Scientific Ministry on Veterinary, Student Executive Board of Brawijaya University (BEM FKH UB). The title event was "Optimalisasi Peran Pemuda dalam Pembangunan Agriteknologi dan Inovasi untuk Indonesia Mandiri = Optimalization of Youth Role in Development of Agritechnology and Innovation to be Independence", in a scientific writing and seminar contest.

This activity provides an opportunity for creative and innovative students in developing ideas on Indonesian Agrotechnology all over Java and Bali. A total of 58 teams participated in the event. "For the final round of Scientific Writing Competition (LKTI), eight teams were selected and invited to present their programs. Those eight teams were two delegates of IPB, two delegates of Airlangga University (UNAIR), three delegates of Brawijaya University, and one delegate of Gajah Mada University (UGM)," said Yose.

In addition, it will promote the  good reputation of IPB communities as biodiversity university.

In his paper Fadel and the team expressed their ideas on the application of antibacterial paints. "Our scientific paper is on 'Antibacterial Paint'. The application of antibacterial paint is based on salt to prevent the development of pathogenic bacteria on dairy farms. Once the right composition between the active ingredients and paint materials is found, then it will be applied on the floor of the dairy cow as it will it inhibit the growth of bacteria in the cage, so as to improve the quality of cow's health with reduced bacteria causing subclinical mastitis and reduce bacterial contamination of livestock products such Milk, "Yose said.

The preliminary process was the abstract selection and the participant papers. Followed by the election of the big eight goes into the percentage stage. Winners are judged based on the percentage of scientific and written works. An important point in this competition is the ideas of scientific papers in the development of agrotechnology. Unexpected pleasure Fadel and his team who presented their ideas through their scientific  paper won the Second Winner and became the Favorite Champion in this competition. Congratulation! (Wied)
