He said that the open mind and individual freedom in the community life, moreover the curiosity of the communities will be conducive for the growing of innovative thinking. In fact, the innovation itself requires freedom. If freedom won’t grow and develop in a common life, a lot of obstacles that will hamper the development of creativity and innovation.
In a religious society, who have different rituals and practices that accompany and highlight their believed respectively, the general attitude of the people is strongly influenced by their religious teachings and understandings about life. If the adopted person's religious understanding does not lead to a productive work ethic for the benefit of society at large, or even cause a person to be exclusive and shut themselves off from real life, thus the innovative culture will not grow and even will hinder and development. Similarly, if the feudal and paternalistic cultural traditions inherited from generation to generation has not changed, of course development of the culture of innovation will be hampered. Feudal culture won’t provide healthy competition and good quality life, accordingly innovations in all walk of life will also be hampered. (Wied)
