Future Leader Camp 2016: Concrete Steps Printing the Future Leaders of Indonesia

Bandung became the silent witness which was fun to be remembered for 48 elected student activists from various large campuses in Indonesia, among others Bogor Agricultural University (IPB), UI, UGM, ITB, UNJ, UNS, UNSRI, UNPAD, and UNY. They were the beneficiaries of Beasiswa Aktivis Nusantara / Nusantara Activist Scolarship (Bakti Nusa) from Dompet Dhuafa.
 
There were eight delegates of elected activists from IPB, namely Hammad Hakim (ITK 2012), Mogi Bian Darmawan (AGH 2012), Khaerun Nisa (Eksyar 2013), Zaki Abdullah (Eksyar 2013), R. Desi Isnaeni Nur Habibah (TIN 2013), Medina Putri (AGB 2013), Fikri Hidayatullah (BIK 2013), and Fadhilatul Laela (AGH 2013). Each of them came from the different organization background, starting from BEM of KM of IPB, Dormitory of PPKU of IPB, Forces, and social community that played an active role in the campus of IPB. Together with the elected activist delegates of the campus of IPB were Ach. Firman Wahyudi, SE.,M.Si, Manager of Beasiswa Aktivis Nusantara of IPB. 
 
Activities implemented on 26 April – 1 May 2016 collected them to know each other, brought together each strength, until then being able to manage the kindness with the best synergy that could be done to contribute for caring for Indonesia. FLC was the container that provided a space for the youth activists to continue to hone the fresh ideas as well as their bright ideas as a solution to the existing problems in surrounding community, until eventually hoped to be able to fill the independence in order to realize the ideals of Indonesia in the future.
 
FLC 2016 was filled with various activities which had been packaged in a slick and very interesting, innovative, and in accordance with the current challenges. FLC 2016 also brought great figures and reformers of Indonesia. Ranging from artists, writers, social practitioners, to government.
 
FLC 2016 was begun with an orientation that was filled by the profile leaders in Dompet Dhuafa. They introduced the related values and principles to be possessed by the youth of Bakti Nusa. Then on the following days it was filled with the Leadership Class, with the speakers were Ahmad Fuadi (the author of Negeri 5 Menara), Erie Sudewo (the figure mover of Strong Character Building), Youth Incubation: Mozaik and Youth & Crisis, Activist Table until the convening of Seminar of Young Statesman which was attended by more than 1,000 youth in West Hall of Campus of ITB that managed to bring Ridwan Kamil (Mayor of Bandung), Nurdin Abdullah (Regent of Bantaeng), Illiza Sa’aduddin Djamal (Mayor of Banda Aceh), Rize Falepi (Mayor of Payakumbuh) at the first session. They were all rated as the successful leaders to build the area.
 
At the second session, it was themed of building the global competence through the youth movement. Presenting speakers who were also outstanding, namely Shofwan Albanna (co-founder of Selasar.com), Reza Zaki (Rumah Imperium), and Ivan Ahda (Director of Forum Indonesia Muda). They shared their inspirative experiences in trying to build the country.
 
On the last day, the activity done was the Design Action, the activists were divided into several groups and guided by a team of Bandung Creative City Forum (BCCF) to make observation related to the existing problems and to make the creative solutions which were implementative.
 
Closing FLC 2016, no less intense, was held in Gedung Sate together with Governor of West Java, Ahmad Heryawan, when the gala dinner with the beneficiaries of Bakti Nusa, Manager of Bakti Nusa from various areas, as well as the leaders of Dompet Dhuafa. At that time also echoed a pledge of Young Statesman and announced several awards given from the assessment during the activity of FLC 2016 lasted to Aktivis Bakti Nusa as a form of appreciation for the achievements that had been made.
 
Now eight elected delegates of Aktivis Bakti Nusa IPB of batch 6 had returned to the struggle campus; brought the inspiration to move, motivation and optimism of change, as well as the fresh ideas as a solution that was ready to offer and championed to continue to build the expectation, and to realize Indonesia that was more prosperous in the future.***
