IPB Established Cooperation with PT Geosistem

`Bogor Agricultural University (IPB) has established cooperation with PT. Teknindo Geosistem Excellence (PT. Geosistem), a company specialized the applications and services on geotechnical instrumentation for civil and environmental engineering. The signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) was carried out at the Nasution Abdul Muis Auditorium, Faculty of Agricultural Technology (Fateta) IPB, on Wednesday, 25 February 2015. 

This event was attended by Dean of Fateta of IPB, Dr. Sam Herodian, Chairman of the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering (SIL) of Fateta of IPB, Prof. Dr. Budi Indra Setiawan, Director of PT. Geosistem, Ir Wahyu P. Kuswanda, as well as hundreds of students of SIL.

In his remarks, Dr. Sam Herodian presented various accomplishments made by the faculty members and students of Fateta IPB. He also encouraged the students to continue the spirit of learning and achieve their dreams. "If you have big dream, keep on working toward that  dream, I’m sure you can make your dreams come true, "he said.

The next item of the program was remarks by the Director of PT. Geosistem, during which he presented his company’ profiles, citing a number of cooperation his company has established with a lot of Indonesian universities. The event then was concluded by a public lecture "Aplikasi Geosintetik dan Instrumentasi Geoteknik pada Bidang Teknik Sipil dan Lingkungan (=Geosynthetic Applications and Instrumentation Geotechnical on Civil Engineering and the Environment)".
