IPB together with Kyoto University Held the International Symposium

Bogor Agricultural University (IPB) and Kyoto University held the International Symposium: Diversity and Conservation of Asian Primates at IPB International Convention Center (IICC) (18/8). This symposium raised the theme of “From Molecule to Culture.” This performance was the 4th International Congress on Asian Primates and was “Post-Congress Symposium to the 25th Congress of International Primatological Society” in Hanoi on 11-25 August 2014.
Prof. Dr. Michiaki Mishima, Executive Vice President for International Affairs Kyoto University stated, “On 28 August 2013, President of Kyoto University and Rector of IPB sign the MoU for the academic cooperation. The activity of Kyoto University and IPB, International Symposium: Diversity and Conservation of Asian Primates, is the first joint collaboration for the academic activity.”
Dean of FMIPA, Dr. Sri Nurdiati, M.Sc, stated, “To the participants, I express the welcome to Bogor City. I hope the participants can feel comfortable in our city. I hope this symposium can run smoothly. After President of Kyoto University and Rector of IPB sign the MoU for the academic cooperation on the date of 28 August 2013, then on November 2013 Director of Primate Research Institute from Kyoto University and Dean of FMIPA also sign the same MoU”.
“We respectfully invite the international researchers running in the broad spectrum of the observed phenomenon about the primate of Asia to present the results they observed in this symposium. We hope the participants will share the end result and discuss freely with the spirit of scientific cooperation,” said Dr. Sri Nurdiati, M.Sc. (RF)
