IPB Will Develop A Business School

As for other  alternative to produce creative and innovative graduates who have  entrepreneurial, Bogor Agricultural University (IPB) will develop the School of Business (SB). The objective for the development of this School of Business will be to meet the increased demand of professionals in entrepreneurships. 

 

This was stated by IPB Rector, Prof. Dr. Ir Herry  Suhardiyanto, MSc., in his  opening remarks of the Workshop for the establishment of School  of Business , at IPB International Convention Center, on Wednesday, 16 October 2013. "The School of Business of IPB is expected to produce  professionals in agricultural fields, who will  strengthen IPB  to achieve its vision to be the International Standard Research – based University, and Prime Motivator for Mainstreaming of Agriculture," said Rector.

 

This objective of the workshop  for the establishment of the School of Business of IPB  is get important inputs  and recommendation formulated by esource persons and the Executive Boards of  IPB as well. Thus, the expected  School of Business of IPB will be capable to responds the needed  entrepreneurs for the national development.

 

Resource Persons   invited to attend the workshop were: (1). Prof. Martani Huseini, Professor of Administrative Sciences, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, University of Indonesia; (2). Dr. Ir. Arief Daryanto, Mec., Director of Management and Business of IPB; (5). Prof. Dr.Ir. Agus W. Suhadi, Vice Chairman of Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Ekonomi (STIE) Prasetiya Mulya; (6).
