The Student Organization Capacity Strengthening Program Team (PPK Ormawa), Animal Nutrition and Food Student Association (Himasiter) IPB University conducted Workshop 1 activities to present community service programs that will be implemented in Sinarsari Village, Dramaga District, Bogor, West Java. The activity was held at the Sinarsari Village Multipurpose Building which was attended by communities, village government, activity partners and lecturer representatives.

According to Dodi Wahyudi, one of the members of PPK Ormawa Himasiter IPB University, this program is expected to be able to add the skills of the communities as well as increase the capacity of students' ability who are active in ormawa. "We brought the program 'Estungkara Village: Community Empowerment of Sinarsari Village by Implementing 5 Pillars of Smart Village through "Hayuk" Program. Our five main focuses are education, economy, health, environment and animal husbandry," he said.

Dodi explained that the education program (Hayuk Maca) is carried out through the creation of a reading corner and the development of soft skills for students and village youth. For the economic sector (Hayuk Necis), it is a program for fostering micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs). The objectives of the program include entrepreneurship socialization, making product logos, distribution permits, marketing media or advertising on social media, online sales through e-commerce and counseling on the use of application governance.

"Furthermore, in the health sector, we have the Hayuk Sehat program as an infrastructure for public health through several activities such as planting four medicinal plants and families. This program collaborates with womem farmer women (KWT) to help with the process of making herbal medicine and nutritious snacks for children," added Dodi.

He added that the environmental program (Hayuk Resik) aims to create a clean, comfortable and safe environment and increase residents' awareness of environmental cleanliness. These activities include waste management, ecobricking and eco enzymes, and mutual cooperation activities in the form of Friday Clean Together.

"Finally, the Hayuk Tadu program is an activity in the livestock sector through the introduction of technology in animal husbandry and independent feed making. In addition, another program is the manufacture of granular organic fertilizer by utilizing livestock feces waste and the application of production management," he said.

"We really welcome the activities of IPB University students. The activities presented are very interesting and help the community, also in accordance with their needs. Hopefully this program can continue and the community will actively participate in the activities," explained Acim as the village government representative.

As a form of commitment of the PPK Ormawa Himasiter IPB University team, the members involved will follow and get upgrading material to improve the team's ability to carry out the service program. (*/Rz) (IAAS/NVA)
