IPB Agrianita Holds Care, Love, and Giving Day Event
Agrianita of IPB conducted an event themed ‘Agrianita Day: Care, Love and Giving’ in commemoration of Kartini Day at the Andi Hakim Nasoetion Rectorate Building, IPB Dramaga Campus (04/24). This activity presented various performances including lumping horse dance by Agriananda Early Childhood Education (PAUD) students and angklung attraction by IPB Professors. In the April period, Agrianita held a series of Clean Dormitory Contest activities through the Faculty Foster Mother Program, Fried Rice Cooking Competition, Social Service in the form of 1700 Food Packages, Women’s Health Examination which was attended by 83 percent of members of Agrianita and 17 percent of the general public.
In addition, the recipients of the 2019 Agrianita Awards was also announced this event. Chairperson of Agrianita, Neno Arif Satria stated, Agrianita Awards are awards for people who have given brilliant thoughts in bringing their best programs with the spirit of Giving Values to the Nation in order to always share and provide the best for IPB family.
Neno Arif Satria also explained the Agrianita program in 2019 focuses on the environment and empowerment of both women and students.
The first focus is the Foster Dormitory Program by empowering students of the General Competency Education Program (PPKU) accompanied by Foster Mother from each Faculty.
The second focus is the Waste Management Program initiated by the Faculty of Economics and Management.
The third focus is the Entrepreneurship and Independent Training Program through the IPB Kreativa Club Program and developing business and training activities as a reference for national training courses.
The fourth focus is the Health Service Program in collaboration with the IPB Health Unit so that the coverage of health services is broader and better.
Another focus is to increase the frequency of low-cost markets as another form of social services, management of healthy canteens and having the Secretariat of Agrianita located in the former building of Agriananda Kindergarten. The Secretariat building will be used together as the secretariat office of the Retirement and Warakawuri Association of IPB.
Chancellor of IPB, Dr. Arif Satria stated that Agrianita is a very important component as an IPB partner to collaborate on environmental issues along with the shifting of roles from individual to collaborative action and from government/official centralization to participation. Agrianita in its roles as an IPB partner is proven to be effective in every work program carried out in supporting IPB activities. “I am grateful that Agrianita not only implements the program well, but it is also good at finding sponsors so that it does not burden IPB. It is financially good, and the activities are very helpful with good results. This shows that Agrianita is an independent and strong partner,” said IPB Rector .
